Responsibilities:
“NEW INCREASED RATES”
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, and collaborating with other Security Staff, the Security Officer supports the health system’s efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. The officer assists all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities. The officer provides a first response to emergency situations, and coordinates with external emergency management, law enforcement and fire agencies.
Full Time Day Shift, hours are 6:45am-3:15pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation required

High School Diploma – OR – GED – OR – Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

BLS Certification
IAHSS Basic Level Certification (CHSO) – Must be obtained within 6 months of hire/placement
