Early Childhood Classroom Therapist

Purpose of this position:

Provides support to clients ages 3-5yrs old in the early childhood classroom to include all aspects of therapy and behavior management.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Knowledge of individual and group behavior and the interrelationships between social, economic, psychological, and general physiological factors

Knowledge of current social, economic, health problems and resources, with emphasis upon factors relating to physical and mental health of all age groups

Demonstrated capacity to develop further knowledge of casework principles, practices and methodology

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work

One year work experience in a clinical setting preferred, but no required.
