The Senior HR Business Partner will work closely with leadership across the Susquehanna site to align talent strategies with business objectives, drive operational excellence, and build a culture of high performance. This role is a hands-on, strategic partner role — responsible for providing a full range of HR services including labor and employee relations, organizational development, performance management, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and leadership coaching.

Partner with business leaders to optimize talent, organization structure, processes, and culture in alignment with business goals.

Provide high-level employee and labor relations counsel, including contract interpretation, grievance handling, and investigations.

Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality services across the organization.

Coach and support leaders on performance management, talent development, and employee engagement strategies.

Facilitate and implement HR initiatives to support both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic goals.

Drive recruitment strategies and workforce planning in alignment with business and talent priorities.

Use HR metrics and reporting to inform decision-making and business insights.

Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to improve HR processes and operational effectiveness.

Mentor and develop junior HR team members and step in for the Sr HR Manager as needed.

Support employee satisfaction initiatives and drive a positive, inclusive, high-performing work environment.

What You Have

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline

8+ years progressive HR experience

Strong experience in labor and employee relations, including contract administration and grievance processes

Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong business acumen and organizational insight

Proven ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

Demonstrated experience in organizational development, leadership coaching, performance management, and talent acquisition

Solid understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations

Strong project management, negotiation, and change management capabilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a highly regulated environment

HR experience in manufacturing, power generation, or union environments highly preferred
