Job Title: Fabrication Technician

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, driven individual to join our growing custom metal fabrication division. Successful Fabrication Technicians are comfortable using power tools, possess a high attention to detail, focus on quality craftsmanship, and take pride in a job well done. The Fabrication Technician position is a first-shift position. If you like to operate at a fast pace, focus on results, and be rewarded for great work, we want to meet with you.

Key Responsibilities:

Read blueprints to cut, bend and/or weld Stainless Steel

Operate power tools including saws, drills, and grinding and polishing equipment

Maintain a clean work area

Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship

Construct components/fixtures

Qualifications:

Ability to lift heavy equipment regularly

Prior experience operating a metal shear, metal brake and TIG welder

Ability to work while kneeling, bending, stooping, or crouching

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Capable of reading blueprints

Possess good math skills

Forklift experience helpful but not required

Willingness to learn and grow

Experience in TIG welding is a plus, but not required
