THREE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise/lead a team to execute a demanding workload with changing priorities to achieve goals.
Supervise a large team of associates to ensure compliance with engineered workflows, achieve or exceed productivity standards and adhere to quality goals and expectations.
Monitor the warehouse to allocate resources to the correct group/location ID.
VAS RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and oversee all Value-Added Services activities
Provide leadership through coaching and training of personnel
Maintain and enforce all company procedures and policies
Motivate and lead Value-Added Services staff to complete tasks
Enforce standards of warehouse safety, cleanliness and organization
Monitor workflow and processes to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Supervision of all Value-Added Services tasks including but not limited to Kitting, Assembly, Repackaging, Labeling, Ticketing and other similar tasks for shipping
Use of computer software to complete required reporting
Other duties as assigned
Workload Management
Analysis of ever-changing workload and priorities to ensure that all tasks are completed by deadlines.
Determination of resource requirements in order to achieve daily goals.
Scheduling of resources.
Overtime reduction/prevention.
Process Management
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with pre-engineered workflows and SOP’s.
Collaboration with all departments to create and enhance workflows and SOP’s to improve efficiency.
Precise execution of all processes, ensuring quality and accurate inventory transactions.
Adherence to engineered Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Prevent product damage and shrinkage, accidents, and occupational hazards.
Associate Management
Ensure that safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Assist in managing associate output and productivity.
Ensure proficiency within the department to support financial and operational needs/goals.
RECEIVING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and oversee Receiving activities
Provide leadership through coaching and training of personnel
Maintain and enforce all company procedures and policies
Motivate and lead Receiving staff to complete tasks
Enforce standards of warehouse safety, cleanliness and organization
Monitor workflow and processes to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Other duties as assigned
Receiving Tasks:
Manages receipt of inbound shipments and freight at facility.
Ensures accuracy within all inbound tasks, including ASNs, inventory, weights and dimensions, identifying damaged goods, and product identification.
Maintain all paperwork in conjunction with receiving tasks.
Responsible for staging lane/dock organization.
Works in conjunction with all other departments as needed.
Adherence to engineered Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Provides quality control measurements in the process of receiving all items into the warehouse.
Shipping:
Oversee the shipment and freight for Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload from facility.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in bill of lading.
Responsible for shipping lane/dock organization.
Management of container unload processes, labor and equipment.
Provides quality control measurements in the process of shipping.
Other:
Responsible for labor management; scheduling, overtime control, forecasting and financial responsibility of labor in the department.
Ensure proficiency of the department to support financial and operational needs/goals.
Collaboration with Value-Added Services, Shipping and Material Handling Departments.
Prepare reports and communicate effectively with other team members.
Ability to meet internal deadlines.
Maintaining 5-S standards throughout the department.
Support a seven-day operation.
