Description

Beyond Behavior Consulting, LLC is a behavioral health organization based in applied behavior analysis, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Program Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic individual who enjoys working with children with special needs. This is a part-time, 12-month, non-exempt position reporting to the Clinical Supervisor.

Part Time Monday through Friday 8:00-11:00 AM

Primary Purpose of the Job: The Program Aide supports the center/group program lead and supervising BCBA in completing tasks and duties to ensure the program runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Client Support & Care: Assist students with self-care tasks such as toileting, diaper changes, and dressing. Engage clients in play and bonding activities. Escort and monitor clients within the building and for activities outside the center. Assist with client arrival, dismissal, and personal belongings.

Center Maintenance & Organization: Complete daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks. This includes maintaining a clean environment by cleaning toys, tables, and other frequently touched items. The role involves building-level cleaning such as sweeping, vacuuming, taking out trash, and replacing supplies. You will also assist in organizing classroom materials and preparing essential items for clients and staff.

Administrative & General Support: Support supervisors, Leads, BTs, and Speech Therapists with tasks like laminating, cutting, copying, and preparing crafts. Assist with classroom management, scheduled activities, and developing program materials.

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: 1+ years of experience with children with special needs is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Fingerprint clearances are required.

CPR/First Aid Certification.

Mandated Reporter Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong multi-tasking skills.

Effective written and oral communication.

Proficient in using the internet, email, and Microsoft Teams for virtual conferencing.

Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, kneel, bend, crawl, and sit for routine performance of essential functions.
