The learning support teacher will work closely with students who need academic and behavioral support, helping them access the curriculum in a way that fits their learning needs. The teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lessons, create accommodations, and provide strategies for students on their caseload. The learning support teacher will develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), implement Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs), track student progress, and offer practical guidance to staff on how to best support students with diverse learning needs.
